During a recent inspection of a new construction home, Steve discovered an interesting scene. Electrical panels are not allowed to be installed in bath areas by building code for new construction properties. Had this been an older home, it would be “grandfathered in” and acceptable, though we would alert the seller and buyer that is not best practice and all parties should be aware.
